Hosted Google Apps Authentication Module for Moodle 1.8
Google has created Google Apps http://www.google.com/a/. Google Apps supplies users with communication, collaboration and publishing tools, including email accounts on your domain.
With this module you are able to authenticate users on your moodle using their hosted google apps user accounts.

Requirements:
- A working installation of Moodle 1.8+
- A domain and users hosted by google. See http://www.google.com/a/
Installation:
- Download and extract the googaps.zip file
- Move the contents of the 'auth' directory to your Moodle 'auth' directory.
- Move the contents of the 'lang' directory to your Moodle 'lang' directory.
- Go to the Authentication admin page (Users > Authentication)
- Enable the 'Hosted Google Apps' authentication module by clicking on the 'eye' icon on your Authentication admin page.
- Use the 'Hosted Google Apps' Settings to select the type of google authentication from the drop down (HOSTED | GOOGLE | HOSTED OR GOOGLE)
- If you selected 'HOSTED' in the 'type' enter the 'domain' value for your hosted google apps domain.
Assuming you don't run into any problems, you should be ready to go.
